Burnsville To Host Stargazing Event In April
Startwatch Party will give attendees a chance to view and learn about constellations with the help of former WCCO meteorologist Mike Lynch.
BURNSVILLE, MN —The city of Burnsville will be hosting an event in April where people can view and learn about constellations with the help of an expert.
Starwatch Party will take place from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Alimagnet Park, 1200 Alimagnet Park Dr., and will be hosted by former WCCO meteorologist Mike Lynch, whose other passion is astronomy.
Participants will get to use large telescopes for close-ups views of the moon, star clusters, nebulae, galaxies and "other wonders in the late winter and early spring skies," according to event organizers. The event will take place even if it's cloudy.
