Burnsville Legion Starts Out Gopher Classic 1-0
The Cobras defeated St. Louis Park 13-0 in five innings on Friday in Chanhassen
The Burnsville American Legion baseball team opened up play at the Gopher Classic with a five-inning, 13-0 win over St. Louis Park on Friday at Chanhassen High School.
The win puts the Cobras unbeaten at 1-0 heading into Saturday’s pair of games in Chanhassen. Burnsville will play back-to-back games starting with Anoka at 2 p.m. The Cobras’ second game will be against Chanhassen at 4:30 p.m.
Rapid City, SD, and Chanhassen are both 2-0 after the first day of play. Chippewa Falls, WI, is 0-1 and Anoka and St. Louis Park are both 0-2.
