The current Parks and Recreation System Master Plan was developed and adopted in 2000.

The plan established a vision for the park system - including maintenance, renovation and enhancements through the year 2020.

Although the park system is essentially complete in terms of acreage and basic facilities, the City is seeking input on the current needs, trends and future impacts for the Parks & Recreation System that were not identified in the previous plan.
