Wilkins opened up play at the University of Minnesota Baseline Tennis Center with a win in the first round against Fergus Falls junior Jake Anderson. Wilkins advanced with a 6-4, 6-2 victory. But the senior's day came to an end in the state quarterfinals. Wilkins fell to Mounds View senior Wyatt McCoy 4-6, 2-6. McCoy advanced to Friday's semifinal against Forest Lake Dusty Boyer at 8 a.m.
