COVID-19: Burnsville City Facilities Closed Until July 1
Several city facilities will remain closed to the public in order to reduce the spread of the new coronavirus.
BURNSVILLE, MN — As the spread of the new coronavirus continues, officials in Burnsville have moved to keep all city facilities closed to the public through June 30. City staff will continue to evaluate the situation and adjust closures as necessary.
City closures include:
- City Hall
- Maintenance Facility
- Burnsville Fire Stations #1 and #2
- Burnsville Police Station
- Burnsville Ice Center
- Burnsville Community Television
- THE GARAGE
- The Ames Center

Since March 14, the city of Burnsville has been under a declaration of local peace time emergency due to COVID-19. Mayor Elizabeth Kautz invoked city’s disaster plan and authorized other appropriate community containment and mitigation strategies.
