On Saturday, August 17, Empty the Nest will partner with Tech Dump, an electronics recycling nonprofit, to collect unwanted electronics (gently used, obsolete, or damaged) from 10am-2pm at their Showroom parking lot in Burnsville.
Bring computers, cell phones, electrical cords, internal/external drives, other misc. electronic accessories, TVs, and monitors ($10-donation requested for CRT TVs and monitors—non-flat panels). Tech Dump will destroy all information and data at their facility in Golden Valley. Tech Dump is a Minnesota and Hennepin County licensed electronics recycler. The event will be held from 10am-2pm in the parking lot of Empty the Nest’s Retail Showroom at 1121 Cliff Road E, Burnsville, MN 55337. The showroom is open Mon-Wed and Fri-Sat 10am-4pm and Thursdays 10am- 6pm. Visit their website for other upcoming events and more information at emptythenest.net.
