Burnsville Asst. Fire Chief Brian Carlson will be the guest speaker at the Burnsville Historical Society meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 18, in Suite 111, 190 River Ridge Circle, Burnsville. Carlson, who has been with the department since 2004, will talk about the history of medical and ambulance services in Burnsville and what we, as residents of this community, can look forward to in the future.


Carlson, who earned his bachelor's degree in public administration from Upper Iowa University, was formerly a firefighter and paramedic in Mesquite and Las Vegas, Nevada.
