KIDS’ CLASS: Transpiration Demonstration! (ages 5-10 years)

One of the most common questions that children ask, especially when it comes to plants and flowers is: ‘What makes them grow?’ There are many factors that help flowers and plants grow. This includes: getting enough sunlight, the process of pollination, and of course, making sure they get enough water, which is called “transpiration.” During this fun, hands-on class, kids will learn all about transpiration through this exciting, easy, hands-on activity using celery or daisies, food coloring and water in containers. Your kids will be amazed at the results!
