Fall Class Offerings

-Crescendo:  Crescendo is our young musician development program for musicians ages 5 - 12.

-Young Musicians: 
Students ages 4-6 may join Young Musicians. Students will explore the fundamentals of music theory through rhythm, song, movement and lots of fun activities!

-Music Theory:  Our Music Theory classes are designed for musicians age 6 and up to learn and understand the written language of music through activities and hands-on
practice. Classes are ability-based and students are placed in classes according to their level of knowledge and experience.

-Fall Play:  Come one, come all to the Cyprus Stage. In this 10-week, fun-filled activity, we will audition and rehearse in  preparation for our fall performance. Participants will be cast in a role, and will have the opportunity to perform for their family and friends, as well as the school. Due to our unknown cast size, we will announce the name of the play at the first rehearsal. In addition to their specific role, cast members will study dramatic elements such as blocking, staging, audience awareness, projection, and presence. And above all, we will grow in confidence and have a tremendous
amount of fun!

-Artist Development: 
Motivated young artists take a semi-private or private art class,
Principles of Art and one elective art class at a discounted rate.  All additional classes in the same session
are offered at a discount as well.

-Messy Art:  Join us
for messy fun every week! This class will explore the basic elements of art
through projects guaranteed to get their hands dirty. We will explore line,
color, shape, and textures through various mediums of art! Students will be
creating many projects throughout this course to create a final class
portfolio.

-Architecture

-Mosaics: 
Students  ages 6 - 9 will use
various mediums to create multiple mosaics. Tile, paint, foam and other
materials will be explored throughout the session.
