PLAYMAKERS

-- Chase Roullier (Burnsville – offensive lineman)

Coach Tyler Krebs said Roullier has had “two great games,” with the 6-foot-5, 300-pounder grading at over 90 percent in each of the contests.

-- Evan Voxland (Burnsville – linebacker)

Krebs calls the 225-pound Voxland one of the most physical players on the Blaze roster, and said Voxland is good at making the necessary adjustment after a mistake to ensure the miscue doesn’t happen again.

-- Lexis Jones (Bloomington Kennedy – running back)

A 1,000-yard rusher last season, Lexis had 20 carries for 69 yards against Eden Prairie last week and is looking for a breakout game.

-- Travon Hearns (Bloomington Kennedy - quarterback)

Travon was six of 11 through the air at Eden Prairie for 56 yards. Four of his passes were caught by Arich Juberian.

BLAZE WINS IF...

They move the ball early and make a couple of defensive stops to set a positive tone against a team that has struggled to score points. Burnsville managed just 133 yards of offense last week at Rosemount with its first eight drives ending with five punts, two turnovers on downs and an interception. The Blaze is still moving guys around on defense, and they need some players to solidify some of those positions.

EAGLES WIN IF...

They make some early stops on defense and gain some confidence. Running back Lexis Jones has the potential to go the distance on any carry.
