Health Clinics To Open At 2 South Metro Hy-Vee Locations
St. Francis Regional Medical Center will open express care clinics at the new Hy-Vee locations in Shakopee and Savage.

As Hy-Vee continues to open “supermarkets of the future” across the Twin Cities, St. Francis Regional Medical Center is partnering with the grocery retailer to bring express care clinics to the locations in Savage and Shakopee. These clinics will include two exam rooms, lab services, self-serve kiosks, and the option for patients to check-in remotely using St. Francis’ new online system. St. Francis says its express care clinics align with Hy-Vee’s model of providing one-stop shopping with many service offerings.
“St. Francis and Hy-Vee have a lot more in common than one might think because we’re both making an intentional effort to provide services for modern society, which in one word means convenience,” said Mike McMahan, president of St. Francis Regional Medical Center, in a statement.
“People today want to buy groceries, grab a coffee, and get a flu shot all under the same roof – and that’s why we’re excited to be a part of these incredible new Hy-Vee locations.”

The St. Francis express care clinic in Shakopee is slated to open in November at the same time as that Hy-Vee location. The Savage Hy-Vee opened in February, and St. Francis’ express care clinic is expected to open there later this year as well.

In addition to these clinics, St. Francis has a hospital campus and two urgent care clinics in Shakopee, imaging centers in Savage and Chaska, as well as a primary care clinic in Jordan.
“Hy-Vee’s top priority is taking care of its customers. With more than 50 retail health clinics throughout our eight-state region, our customers not only have access to our in-store dietitians and pharmacists, but are also able to seek health, wellness and preventive care services all in one stop,” said Erin Bailey, Hy-Vee’s assistant vice president. “We are excited to work with health care providers so that we can continue to help our customers lead healthier, happier lives.”
