Two products from Escali, a Burnsville company, were selected as a Finalists at the prestigious 2014 Housewares Design Awards. This means that they are in the running for the “Best of the Best” Awards that will be given to the best housewares products of the year at the Gold, Silver and Bronze levels.

Escali for its Escali SmartConnect Kitchen Scale in the Countertop Food Prep Appliances category
Escali’s SmartConnect Kitchen Scale can sync to Escali’s SmartConnect app to provide access to features on an interactive touch screen display. The scale features Bluetooth SMART technology which sends wireless measurements to the SmartConnect app on the user’s mobile device, where it can instantly analyze nutritional content and save actual portion sizes into a food journal. The black glass scale features a large backlight display, is fully functional without the app, has a built-in kitchen timer and can weigh up to 11 pounds.
Escali for its Escali SmartConnect Body Scale in the Personal, Health & Garment Care categoryEscali’s SmartConnect Body Scale enhances functionality by syncing the scale to Escali’s SmartConnect app, providing access to features on an interactive touch screen display. Using Bluetooth SMART technology, the scale can send wireless weight measurements to the user’s mobile device where they can be saved, analyzed and compared. The scale can also interface with the app alongside the SmartConnect Kitchen Scale, so users can analyze the nutrition content of the food they eat, create a food journal and then compare graphs of nutritional consumption to their body weight or body mass index.
