Minnesota is well positioned for a brighter future

We support strong schools, foster entrepreneurship, protect our water and air, cherish the arts, maintain beautiful parks and trails, and deeply care about the well-being of our communities.

Over the past week, I highlighted a lot of positive economic news Minnesota received over the past few weeks. Those highlights include:

  • Reaching the lowest unemployment rate our state has seen in seven years
  • Becoming the sixth best state for business
  • Becoming the third best state to make a living
  • Twin Cities metro showing sturdy economic growth and reaching the lowest unemployment rate of any metro area in the country
  • Boasting the second best workforce talent pipeline

Those are major milestones we can all be proud of. But we didn’t get there by accident.

Minnesota is a great place to live, work, raise a family and do business because we support strong schools, foster entrepreneurship, protect our water and air, cherish the arts, maintain beautiful parks and trails, and deeply care about the well-being of our communities.
