More than 400 attend ribbon-cutting to celebrate new memory care addition in Burnsville

Burnsville Mayor Elizabeth Kautz and Ebenezer President and CEO Mark Thomas were joined by more than 400 members of the community for the grand opening of the new memory care community Arbors at Ridges on the Ebenezer Ridges campus in Burnsville, Minn.  Arbors Memory Care provides services to address the increase in the number of people affected by Alzheimer’s.

The remodel brings memory care residences to the campus for the first time.  The campus currently provides independent and assisted living, as well as skilled nursing care, transitional care, and adult day and child care programs.

Arbors Memory Care features three stories.  The third-story is a secure memory care community with 18 apartments; the second floor community offers 13 secure memory care apartments and 13 assisted living and independent living apartments; and the first floor includes a main dining room, meeting space, an intergenerational studio and family room.
