When the outdoor Pickleball season is over, come on over and play inside with 191 Community Education. Pickleball is a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis. The sport is played on a court with the same dimensions as a doubles badminton court. The net is similar to a tennis net, but is mounted two inches lower. The game is played with a hard paddle and a polymer wiffle ball. Players must provide their own paddle and ball. Nets will be provided.
This is an open event, come and play for as long as you wish, Tuesdays, between 6-10 pm, October 29 -December 17,2013. Class meets at Metcalf Junior High , 2250 Diffley Road, Burnsville, MN 55337.
Pregistration is required. $18 for 6 weeks of class.
