Rude: Police Seek Suspect In 3-Vehicle Hit-And-Run

Authorities are hoping to locate the driver of a pickup truck involved in an alleged hit and run incident. Police say the initial impact was so forceful that a third vehicle was also hit in the crash.

On Tuesday at about 5:15 p.m., the Carver County Sheriff's Office say a pickup hit a parked vehicle in the parking lot of Central High School in Norwood Young America.

The pickup, which appears to be a newer model, dark color Chevrolet, hit with such force it pushed the vehicle into a second vehicle.

Police say the driver of the pickup left the scene without reporting the incident.

Basketball games with teams visiting from Mayer and Lester Prairie were in progress at the time, according to authorities.

The suspected vehicle should have noticeable damage to the front/front driver's side areas. Contact the Carver County Sheriff's Office if you have any information about this incident.
