Speaker of the House Paul Ryan Endorses Republican Jason Lewis

The Jason Lewis for Congress campaign Friday announced the endorsement of Speaker of the House Paul Ryan. Lewis is running for the open House seat in Minnesota's Second District.

“We need a strong Republican majority in Congress next year. Jason Lewis is running a campaign based on conservative ideas," said Ryan.

"Jason is committed to restoring power back to the people. The people of Minnesota's 2nd district will have a representative in Jason that will fight for limited government, patient-centered healthcare, and pro-growth economic policies. Jason is a passionate defender of the Constitution and I’m glad to endorse his candidacy for Minnesota’s 2nd District.”

Lewis said he felt “honored to have Speaker Ryan’s endorsement in this race."

“Throughout his time in public service, Ryan has been a champion for the middle class, fighting for policies that help lift up Americans and grow our economy with good-paying jobs. I am honored to have his support and look forward to working together in Congress.”
