2017-2018 Eagan Funfest Ambassadors Start New Reign Representing Funfest

Hi my name is Jillian Anderson and I am checking in for the first time as a 2017-2018 Eagan Funfest Ambassador.
It's hard to believe that just two weeks ago I was sitting on the edge of my seat next to six other candidates waiting for our fishbowl questions and the judges choice. I was honored to have gotten crowned by my older sister, Emma, who also was able to pass on the Team Spirit Award to me.

Since our coronation we have gotten the opportunity to go to two other coronations, Hopkins and Queen of the Lakes.
At the Hopkins coronation we got the chance to meet and visit with other royalty. I was excited to see how inviting the community was. At the Hopkins coronation the outgoing royalty practiced for the dance party afterwards by dancing around onstage while crowning their candidates.

We experienced our third event by celebrating the Minneapolis Aquatennial at the Queen of the Lakes coronation. The other ambassadors who attended and I were shocked by the 53 candidates they had. At the two coronations we've been to we have realized how suspenseful it is for the sparkle section as well as the candidates. I can't wait for the rest of year representing Eagan and meeting new people!
