Aikido Course through ISD 196 Community Education

Community Education will again offer a course in Introductory Aikido. This course will meet at Blackhawk Middle School, starting November 11 at 6:30 pm, runs for 90 minutes with five classes in this session. Aikido is a gentle but positive martial art, one where strength is not a requisite--in fact, it gets in the way. This makes it ideal for smaller people such as women and teens. No punching, no kicking, no bashing--no fooling! Join us and learn how to protect yourself without adding violence to a situation, make your point without making a scene. Learn how to fall without injury--a valuable skill in itself. See the listing in the on-line or print catalog. The course is taught by blackbelt instructors from the Twin Cities Aikido Center and enrollment is limited for better instruction.
