Ambassadors Welcome New Candidates

Hi! This is Sylvia Berger, your 2015-2016 Eagan Funfest Ambassador. I would like to tell you about some recent events. The West St. Paul Grand Parade & Royalty Pre-parade was a ton of fun. We got to see some of the other Royalty, who are all fantastic people. After the parade we did karaoke on the float, plus Megan sang with the microphone.
We also hosted the Candidate Potluck, the first judged event for the 2016-2017 ambassador candidates. This was a cool experience for me because I remember doing it as a Candidate, but now I could see them be just like me. I would highly encourage anyone thinking about doing the program. Even if I had not become an ambassador, I still would have benefited from being a Candidate. The candidate experiences like speaking in front of others, being part of a team, meeting new people, and being in public were all learning moments.
