Average Eagan Home Value Tops $404K: See How It Compares To Other Suburbs (patch.com) — Eagan homeowners are seeing average property values climb to just over $404,000, according to new Zillow data, with homes going pending in about 19 days. The city’s prices outpace the Minnesota statewide average and sit mid-range compared with nearby suburbs like Mendota Heights, Woodbury, and Apple Valley.
2. Eagan Council Member Mike Supina announces bid for Eagan mayor (hometownsource.com) — Eagan residents now have a declared candidate for mayor, as longtime resident and current council member Mike Supina has filed his affidavit of candidacy at Eagan City Hall. Supina says he’ll focus on fiscal responsibility, public safety, sustainability, safer streets, economic development, and tight zoning for new data centers, emphasizing constant outreach and listening to residents.
3. Things to do in Minnesota: 5 things to do this weekend (May 29–31) (fox9.com) — If you’re staying close to home this weekend, you can catch elite women’s rugby at TCO Stadium in Eagan as the Twin Cities Gemini host Boston. The broader roundup also highlights family festivals, a new Asian marketplace, and a spring birding hike around the metro.
4. Memorial Day and playoff baseball just go together (hometownsource.com) — Eagan baseball fans have plenty to cheer about as the Wildcats rolled past Park of Cottage Grove 12-2 and now host Apple Valley in a Section 3 winners’ bracket game at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 27. The roundup also tracks other south metro playoff action, including Lakeville, Rosemount, Apple Valley, Burnsville, Farmington and New Prague results.
