Saint Paul Bomb Squad Responds to Eagan Home After Grenade Found, Later Determined to Be a Replica (limitless-news.com) — A section of Mersey Way in Eagan was briefly closed Wednesday afternoon while the Saint Paul Bomb Squad checked a reported grenade inside a home, which turned out to be a harmless replica. Eagan police, firefighters, medics, and bomb technicians responded out of caution, then cleared the scene in about 45 minutes. No injuries were reported and authorities say there was no ongoing threat to the public.
3. It also shares FBI-backed tips on protecting children from online scams, predators, and risky public Wi‑Fi use throughout the school year.
4. Man charged after allegedly firing shots at multiple vehicles in Eagan road rage incident (kstp.com) — A 20-year-old man has been charged in connection with a July road rage shooting on I-35E in Eagan, where shots allegedly struck two vehicles but caused no reported injuries. Investigators used traffic cameras, cell phone data, and surveillance video to trace a white Ford F-150 and recover a damaged tailgate. The suspect is currently held in the Dakota County Jail.
5. Ravens C Danny Pinter (leg) carted off from joint practice (statenews.net) — An NFL joint practice held in Eagan on Wednesday was interrupted when Baltimore Ravens center Danny Pinter was carted off with an apparent right leg injury. The 30-year-old, competing to be the starting center, left with a brace as coaches and medical staff evaluated him, leaving his status for the season uncertain.
