• Public invited to Men Wear Pink fundraiser at Eagan Central Park Pavilion (hometownsource.com) — A major breast cancer fundraiser is coming to Eagan Central Park Pavilion on Saturday, Sept. 26, with a $50,000 goal for the American Cancer Society. From noon to 5 p.m., you'll find live music, food for sale, and a big silent auction, all centered on honoring survivors and those lost. Organizers are urging everyone to wear pink and either attend or donate online.
   

• J.J. McCarthy missed the final practice of training camp with an ankle injury (inforum.com) — Vikings training camp in Eagan saw rookie quarterback J.J. McCarthy sit out the final practice with a minor ankle injury, putting his planned preseason start in doubt. Coaches are hopeful rest will let him play in Denver, with Carson Wentz ready if needed. The session at TCO Performance Center also featured strong work from Kyler Murray and injury updates on several teammates.
