BLOG: Eagan's Funfest Ambassador Program Still Taking Applications

Who: Young women and men ages 10-19 who live, go to school, or worship in Eagan.
AGE GROUPS ARE: Juniors 10-12, Teens 13-16, and Youth 17-19.
WHAT: Six ambassadors will be selected, with two in each age category. Ambassadors participate in a candidate program before selection. Youth Ambassadors are awarded a $1,000 scholarship after completion of a year. Juniors and Teen Ambassadors are awarded $500 Savings Bonds after completion of year.
WHEN: Participate fully in a candidate program from June–July 9th with selections announced at the coronation on July 9th.
HOW: Applications are available at www.eaganfunfest.org. Each application requires a $200 sponsor fee.
WHY: Service, volunteerism, poise, public speaking skills and representing Eagan's July 4th Funfest and the Eagan community.
