Ladies, it's Time to Re-Energize Your Personal and Professional Lives!

The Dakota County Regional (DCR) Chamber of Commerce is hosting their second annual WomEn’s Conference on March 1^st, 2012 at the newly renovated Lost Spur Golf and Event Center in Eagan, Minnesota.  Their mission is simple, to connect women and enrich their personal and professional lives by providing the tools and resources to fulfill their aspirations.

This half-day event will feature opening keynote speaker, Shaunice Hawkins, keynote speaker Louise Griffith, closing presenter, Theresa Rose, and a wine tasting reception.  A marketplace of businesses offering their products and services related to Energizing, Educating and Empowering women will also be available to participants.

Shaunice Hawkins is a national presenter that will help individuals understand the process of finding their passion and become un-stuck in their personal and professional lives.  She specializes in helping others grow their brand visibility and increase their social footprints.  Shaunice is the author of the book “Passion… Who Needs It?” and delivers a strong message about identifying your potential.

Louise Griffith, an internationally-recognized speaker, helps clients and workshop participants get clear about what they want - and achieve it. Supported by her spirited and practical guidance, clients and participants learn how to access their power, eliminate self-defeating behaviors, build on their strengths and tap into their passion.

Theresa Rose, local speaker and author, is passionate about helping others find their mojo! She offers a fresh, humorous approach to productivity, energy management and creative development. Theresa’s mission is to educate, entertain and inspire people to live juicier lives.

Additionally, The DCR Chamber has partnered with a non-profit organization, The Lewis House, on this event to further its mission to enhance the lives of women in the community as well.  360 Communities Lewis House offers a safe haven for women and children from domestic abuse. In addition to meeting immediate needs, the Lewis House shelters in Eagan and Hastings provide domestic violence outreach services, sexual assault services and violence prevention education.  Programs at the Lewis House prepare clients to enter productive and meaningful jobs.
