The 3rd annual Memorial Day Observance in Eagan will be on Monday, May 27 at 2pm.  It will be held at the Tribute & Memorial Plaza in Central Park, located on Central Parkway.  The program will start with a prelude by the Royal Brass Quintet and continue with the Eagan Honor Guard and songs from the Eagan Men's Chorus. Participants will be Police Chaplain Debbie Brown & Mayor Mike Maguire.  There will be a presentation of memorial wreath by Wayne & Gwen Olsen and close with taps from Joe Swierczek.  Guest speakers are Annette Kuyper from Veterans Affairs and Eagan Police Officer Dan McCarty, author of "A Soldier Reborn".    American Legion commander Tom Mullon will be Master of Ceremonies. After the service, there will be refreshments donated by local merchants.   This will be an afternoon of remembrance, giving thanks to our fallen heroes and a gathering of friends.  I look forward to seeing you there.    Mullon, along with the Yellow Ribbon organization collaborated for this event.
