Rhubarb Braised Chicken Recipe

When you no longer have room in the freezer for rhubarb cakes, pies, and tarts, or in the pantry for rhubarb jams, jellies, and chutneys, use up that rhubarb in a delicious chicken dinner.

It’s rhubarb season! At long last, something edible has emerged from the ground after our extended Minnesota winter. Most of us will buy it in bulk and start making rhubarb pies, cakes, and other desserts. But when the thought of any more sweets makes us back away from the rhubarb and even consider tossing it, here’s a great “non-dessert” use for it.
