Please join us for a free talk by landscape and nature photographer Jeffrey Tadlock
about the power of photography to inspire us to explore new places and experience the beauty of the natural world. Jeffrey, an Ohio-based photographer who shares his love of shooting outdoors through his workshops, YouTube channel, webinars and Shutter Nonsense podcast, will talk about making our landscape photography more approachable, rewarding, and connected to the outdoor experience.
This event on Thursday, Sept. 3 at 7 p.m., is hosted by the Minnesota Valley Photography Club, a group of photography enthusiasts in the south metro. Jeffrey will present via live video at MVPC’s monthly meeting at Eagan City Hall—a great opportunity to talk to Club members about everything MVPC has to offer photographers of all aptitudes and skill levels. If you prefer you may attend the meeting virtually via Zoom.

Simley Senior High School

The Simley High School Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have distinguished themselves through academic, artistic, athletic, and humanitarian achievement. The Hall of Fame also helps preserve Simley’s history, build a sense of community, and instill pride among students, staff, alumni, and the Inver Grove Heights community.
The Simley Hall of Fame Class of 2026 includes Jim Reed (class of 1978), Jena Hostetler-Radant (1993), Danielle DuBois-Woog (1995), Brian Silk (1997), Abby Kain (2016) and Ron Haala (staff). i9 Sports South Metro Minneapolis is a locally owned youth sports organization serving families throughout Bloomington, Burnsville, Apple Valley, Savage, Prior Lake, Shakopee, Lakeville, Jordan, St. Paul, New Prague, and surrounding cities. The organization provides recreational league play for boys and girls ages 3–14, focusing on building confidence, character, and teamwork within the local community. They offer a variety of youth programs including soccer, flag football, basketball, baseball, and tennis. The jumpsuit includes one base pant and two interchangeable tops, allowing wearers to create multiple looks from a single set. Each piece can be worn separately or connected with a discreet zipper to form a full jumpsuit. Grady said the inspiration came from personal experience.
