EAGAN, MN — Christmas Day falls on a Monday this year, and many government offices and businesses will be closed Dec. 25 in observance of the holiday. Here's list of what's open and what's closed in Eagan for Christmas 2017:
- Post office: Closed
- Federal offices: Closed
- Eagan: City offices are closed. Call your licensed refuse hauler regarding holiday pickup hours.
- Dakota County: License and service centers will be closed Saturday, Dec. 23 and Monday, Dec. 25. All Dakota County library locations will be closed Sunday, Dec. 24 and Monday, Dec. 25.
- Banks: Closed
- Gas stations: Most will remain open
- West St. Paul-Mendota Heights-Eagan schools: Winter break lasts from Dec. 21 to Dec. 29
- Liquor stores: All Minnesota liquor stores are legally required to close at 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve and must remain closed on throughout Christmas Day
