Coming To Eagan: Locally-Owned Boutique Clothing Store

EAGAN, MN — A local family business will soon open its first brick and mortar store at Twin Cities Premium Outlets in Eagan. Women’s clothing boutique Poppy Smooches will open to the public on Friday, May 26. The business, started in 2009 by the Cook family from Minnetonka, has sold its clothing and accessories exclusively online until now.

“Poppy Smooches is a great story of local, family entrepreneurship, and we are proud to have them as our newest tenant at Twin Cities Premium Outlets,” said Peter Lund, general manager of Twin Cities Premium Outlets, in a statement.

Poppy Smooches is located on the east side of Twin Cities Premium Outlets near Steve Madden and Saks Fifth Avenue. The store’s collection of women’s apparel is geared toward young adults, with new pieces from trend-setting designers.

“Twin Cities Premium Outlets is the perfect location for our first store. It’s a fun property with lots of energy and an impressive roster of retailers. Plus, it’s located in Eagan, which has one of the fastest-growing business climates in the state,” said Sarah Cook, creative director and store manager at Poppy Smooches. “We think shoppers will love not only our clothing and accessories, but also our affordable prices.”
