Duckwood Overpass Construction Ahead of Schedule
Work is moving along at a rapid rate towards a projected November completion.
In a statement released June 16, Eagan Public Works indicated that construction on the Duckwood overpass bridge is progressing ahead of schedule.
The overpass is the final segment of the city's ring road designed to ease congestion in the intersection of, and along, Pilot Knob and Yankee Doodle Roads.
Intermittent lane and road closures can be expected as work goes forward throughout the summer and fall, including closures on I-35E, Crestridge Drive, Duckwood Drive, Federal Drive and Pilot Knob Road

The projected schedule for work completion on city streets is as follows:
Duckwood Drive - Town Centre Drive to Crestridge Drive (September – October, 2011)

Duckwood Drive - Crestridge Drive to Federal Drive, Street ONLY (September – October, 2011)
Federal Drive - Violet Lane to Royal Oak Circle (September – October, 2011)
Pilot Knob Road - Duckwood Drive to I-35E northbound ramp (September – October, 2011)
Crestridge Drive - Duckwood Drive to Pilot Knob Road (September – October, 2011)
