Eagan Is America's 28th Most Livable City: Report
A new study finds that Eagan is one of the best cities in the nation, but you already knew that.

EAGAN, MN — A new report tells us what we already know; Eagan is one of the most livable cities in the United States, and not just because it's the new home of the Minnesota Vikings. The study, conducted by 24/7 Wall St., details the 50 best American cities to live in. It used more than three dozen socioeconomic measures to identify the top cities.
Eagan, with an approximate population of 66,431, was slotted at No. 28. According to the study, Eagan's median home value is $274,400 and has an extremely low poverty rate of six percent. When it comes to education, about 51 percent of residents have at least a bachelor’s degree.
"Compared to the country as a whole, Minnesota has relatively little poverty," the study reads. "Eagan has a well-educated population, with over half of the city’s adults holding at least a bachelor’s degree. The city’s high school students also score better on standardized tests than students in the vast majority of Minnesota cities."
