Eagan Company Will Develop 13 New Day Spas

EAGAN, MN — TARA Group Inc., an Eagan-based real estate development company has been awarded the rights to develop 13 Sirius Day Spas in the state of Minnesota. Sirius Day Spa is a new franchise spa concept being rolled out throughout the United States by franchise veteran The Leonesio Group (TLG-SDS) of Scottsdale, Arizona.

“We are thrilled to have Todd and Robin as a part of the growing SDS family. They bring a wealth of experience in the greater Minnesota area that will be invaluable to the new franchise partners,” Lyle Myers, President of Sirius Day Spa Franchising, said in a statement.

TARA Group owners and Sirius Day Spa Regional Developers Robin Hicks and Todd Corbo will sell the franchise licenses throughout the Twin Cities’ suburbs and Rochester.

“We are excited to develop this concept in the vibrant business environment of Minnesota. The $17 billion health and beauty market is a strong and vital business segment and perfectly matched for the Twin Cities health-minded population,” says Hicks. “We hope to open the first Minnesota Sirius Day Spa before the end of the year.”

Sirius Day Spa will offer luxurious day spa services under one roof. Customers are able to purchase monthly household memberships that provide credits toward discounted spa services including massage, skin care, body wraps, nail care, waxing, hair styling, eyelash extensions, mindful meditation, and teeth whitening, according to a news release.

The first Sirius Day Spa will open in Scottsdale, Arizona in the fall. Other regions currently in development include Chicago, Dallas, Houston, southern California, southern Florida, Colorado, Michigan, New Jersey, and Oklahoma.

Sirius Day Spa is the fourth brand in this category to be developed by TLG. The group is responsible for the $300 million dollar Massage Envy business before selling it in 2008.
