Eagan Funfest Ambassador Learns Sponsor Ideal Credit Union is More Than Just a Financial Institution

Hi, my name is Autumn Manni and I am one the 2016-17 Eagan Funfest Ambassadors. On October 22 I got to meet with my sponsor Ideal Credit Union’s Executive Vice President of Operations, Alisha Johnson. It was fun to get to learn more about my sponsor. I got to ask Alisha lots of different questions. My favorite thing that I learned about Ideal Credit Union was that they do lots of volunteer work which I think is super awesome because volunteering is such a big part of being an Eagan Ambassador. Ideal Credit Union is a “Platinum” sponsor for the 7th Annual MN Brain Tumor 5k through funding, volunteering, and sponsoring Ideal Credit Union teams. Some other volunteering they do is Relay for Life at Tartan High School, Financial Literacy 5K, Meals on Wheels, Salvation Army Coats for Kids, Second Harvest Food Shelf, Dash for David Riggs 5K, and so many others. Alisha told me that her favorite part about working for Ideal Credit Union is that she is always facing new challenges and she never gets bored. Overall I learned that Ideal Credit Union is a member owned financial institution that specializes in providing excellent member service and is always staying actively involved in their communities. I had such a great time learning about my sponsor and I want to thank Ideal Credit Union for being my sponsor.
