So far my year as an Eagan Funfest Ambassador has been amazing and unforgettable. My life changed when my name was announced at coronation time and I am so thankful that I am given this opportunity. I have become very close friends with my other fellow ambassadors whom I proudly call my sisters. We get to go to so many events and represent the great city of Eagan. One of my favorite events was the St. Paul Park Parade! We got to dress up in our formal dresses and ride in the convertibles for the first time. There were so many little kids with smiling faces waving at me. It was special because they are always amazed to see a “princess” and that inspires me to be a good role model for them. So far this year, we have been to multiple coronations, parades, and volunteer opportunities. One of our most recent events was volunteering at the Eagan Women of Today 5K. We helped set up and guided the route, it was really fun. That same weekend, we went to the Inver Grove Heights Coronation and the Burnsville Fire Muster Parade. My year has been really fun and it is truly going by so fast. I am so happy to be a part of this program and I look forward to the rest of this year!
