Eagan Funfest Ambassadors Attend Hudson Pepperfest

Ambassador Genesis Scott Gains Confidence Through Ambassador Program

Greetings readers, Genesis Scott here, one of your 2018-2019 Eagan Funfest Ambassadors reporting for blogger duty. On the night of coronation my anticipation level was high since it was my second time as a candidate. I say that because I want to encourage anyone who has been a candidate in the past and hasn’t gone through to try again. Never give up! The second time being a candidate I felt more confident and knew what to expect.

Once selected, Hailey, Annabelle and myself started attending and volunteering at several fun filled events, including the Pepper Fest Parade in Hudson Wisconsin. We had to leave a couple hours before the parade started so we could have a delicious breakfast brunch with all the other area royalty! Before every parade we decorate our float with the help of alumni and parents and often see other royalty who stop and chat with us. I love to talk with them about their coronation experience and hear how it was for them.

Every parade is exciting, but also different, which I think is great because it’s so fun to see new communities and the people who live in them. Some people on the parade route even wave at us through the windows of their houses- of course we had to give them royal waves back! Until next time, this Genesis Scott one of your 2018-2019 Eagan Funfest Ambassadors wishing you a very sparkly rest of your summer!
