Eagan Funfest Ambassadors Bring Holiday Cheer

Hi:
This is Annabelle Carstens. I want to tell you about some Funfest Ambassador events I went to this weekend.

The first event I went to was a toy distribution party for military families. It was hosted by the Eagan Beyond The Yellow Ribbon Program. Military families got to eat, play games and even get a gift from Santa. Our job as ambassadors was to help Santa with handing out presents to the kids. Santa was sitting in front of a helicopter and my fellow ambassadors and I were inside the helicopter handing the presents to Santa to give to the kids.

The other event was breakfast with Santa at the Y.M.C.A. We helped Santa learn the kids names and ask about what they want for Christmas. There were many other activities and games for them to do, like the bouncy house, face painting, a fishing game, a race game with fake pigs and a tootsie roll game. We also had a great breakfast of waffles, sausages, and orange juice.
