Eagan Funfest Ambassadors – CANDIDATE PROGRAM ORIENTATION

Eagan’s July 4th Funfest invites local youth and young adults as candidates for our Funfest Ambassador Program. Our program is open to both males and females from ages 10 – 19 years. Would an academic scholarship or certificate of deposit advance your future school plans? Do you enjoy giving back to your community through volunteerism? If so, then you may be an excellent representative of Eagan’s July 4th Funfest and our Eagan community.

The Candidate process involves a variety of events that provide a sample of life as a Funfest Ambassador over a 5 week span. Candidate activities include:

• a family potluck gathering
• a neighboring community event
• local events with volunteer projects
• an appearance in the Eagan Funfest Parade
• participation in the Brain Freeze Ice Cream Eating Contest
• participation in the coronation event
