Eagan Funfest Ambassadors Participate in Many Events

My name is Makenzie Martin and I am one of your 2016-2017 Eagan Funfest Ambassadors! I am an upcoming Junior at Eagan High School and am proudly sponsored by Mulcahy Heating and Plumbing Company.
It’s been a little over five months since I was crowned, and I honestly can't believe how fast it’s gone. It’s crazy! Now I really do understand what the past alumni had said… Enjoy every moment, it will go by very quickly!
Throughout these past months, my fellow ambassadors and I have already met so many individuals throughout our community and visiting royalty, at all sorts of events. Some of these include: Attending Crowning Achievements, Breakfast with Santa, Old Fashioned Holiday and more. Additionally, one of our most recent events was attending the Kick-Start Rotary Meeting. Although I’m not the earliest riser, the early wake up call was worth it. I found the meeting to be very eventful and loved hearing bits and pieces of the “behind the scenes” information! This was especially interesting because I also take part in a volunteering club at my school. This group, known as the Interact Club, is actually closely tied with the Rotary… So, having this extra time to see what they do, was really fascinating! Finally, I would also like to send a very large thank you to the Rotary. Their organization was fortunate enough to award us with a check for the Funfest. Myself, along with my other ambassadors, are very appreciative and grateful!
Now, with a couple months still ahead of us, I'm so excited for what the rest of this year, and 2017, has to hold. However, none of this would be possible without the other three wonderful ambassadors that I get to share it with.
