Eagan Funfest Ambassadors Participate in Winter Carnival Weekend

Checking back in for another blog post, it’s two of your 2016-17 Eagan Funfest Ambassadors, Emma Anderson and Makenzie Martin. As the year continues to fly by, we are still having a blast with some exciting winter festivities.
About two weeks ago, we were fortunate enough to attend a weekend in St. Paul for Winter Carnival Festivities. During this event, we had the opportunity to stay overnight with more than 100 other ambassadors from all over Minnesota and Wisconsin. Let’s just say, it was quite a busy weekend! Whether we were attending the Moon Glow Pedestrian Parade, or celebrating the coronation of the new royal family, there was never a dull moment. Our weekend was mostly centered in Rice Park, where we went ice skating and went to a few different outdoor concerts. We were even invited onstage to show off our stellar dance moves! Additionally, we spent an afternoon exploring the city of St. Paul. In particular, the State Capitol Building! We are so grateful for this opportunity and everyone who made this wonderful and festive weekend possible. We met so many great new friends and we are honored to be part of such a special royal family.
