Eagan Funfest Ambassadors Volunteer at Daddy Daughter Dance

Ambassador Genesis Scott Describes Fun February Family Event

Welcome back readers, Genesis Scott here, one of your 2018-2019 Eagan FunFest Ambassadors bringing you yet another blog article for your reading enjoyment.

This month's topic being as how it's the month of love, I'm here to tell you about the Daddy-Daughter Dance event that I and the other ambassadors volunteered at.

As dads and daughters started entering the Eagan Community Center dressed to the nines in flowing and sparkling dresses and dads in matching ties and shirts we directed them to various activities spread out throughout the ballroom.
There was no shortage of activities to pick some. Lots of crafts, photo booth complete with hand decorated frame as a keepsake and snacks and dancing- there wasn't a dull moment from the minute the doors opened.
There was even a guest appearance from Princess Anna of Arendelle! (We politely asked her if her sister would calm down with the weather already).

My fellow ambassadors and I rotated from station to station helping dads and daughters with the crafts, applying tattoos, and our favorite part; dancing in big groups to fantastically funky tunes.
I don't know who requested "Baby Shark" at the end, but it surely wasn't one of us.

I'm always so happy to see people from our community come out to these events. Meeting new friends and seeing familiar faces is always a huge highlight for me.

Thanks for reading. Stay warm out there and until next time,
Genesis Scott,
Eagan FunFest Ambassador 2018-2019
