Eagan Funfest Seeking Ambassador Candidates for 2017

Checking in for another blog post, it’s Makenzie Martin, one of your 2016-2017 Eagan Funfest Ambassadors! After eight fun-filled, exciting and busy months, it’s that time to start recruiting next year’s candidates. Hopefully, you’ll see a few signs pop up here and there around your community!

Almost a year ago, I remember walking through the halls at school, Eagan High School, and glancing at one of the many displayed posters on the walls. After a couple glances, a bit of research and lots of interest, I decided to apply as a candidate for the ambassador program. When I first began this journey, many people were either curious as to what the program was, or why I wanted to be apart of it. In short, I wanted to be an ambassador to embrace my community, engage in more volunteer experiences, and to create long-lasting friendships and memories. And who would’ve thought, that after about two months of candidate events, that I would be one of the four, newly crowned, Eagan Funfest Ambassadors. For any of you who are interested or know someone who would be a perfect fit, I strongly encourage you to attend our informational meeting scheduled for the near future. Being an ambassador has truly given me a boost in confidence and the chance to participate in a once in a lifetime opportunity.
