EAGAN, MN — Make sure to avoid any tricks this Halloween by knowing the curfew rules in Eagan. Police told Patch that normal curfew rules apply on Oct. 31. What are those rules, exactly?
The Eagan Police Department enforces the Dakota County Curfew Ordinance, which is as follows:
It is unlawful for anyone 12 and under to be present in any public place in Dakota County between these hours:
- Sunday – Thursday: 9 p.m. - 5 a.m.
- Friday – Saturday: 10 p.m. - 5 a.m.
For ages 12-14:

- Sunday – Thursday: Be home from 10 p.m. - 5 a.m.
- Friday – Saturday: Be home from 11 p.m. - 5 a.m.
For ages 15-17:

- Saturday – Sunday: Be home from 12 p.m. - 5 a.m.
