Eagan High School Carnival Concert

Eagan High School is hosting its first-ever "Carnival Concert" on Feb. 27, featuring fun games and kid-friendly concert music.

Eagan High School is hosting its first-ever "Carnival Concert" on Feb. 27. Yes, the event is exactly what it sounds like – there will be an actual carnival in the Eagan High School cafeteria from 5 to 7 p.m., followed by a concert in the school auditorium at 7 p.m.

The first-ever Carnival Concert is designed to be a fun event, particularly for elementary-aged students and their families. All of the carnival games have been designed and built by the school's freshmen band, which will be hosting and performing at the event.

Each carnival event has a musical twist on it; for example, a ski-ball game modified so that the player rolls the ball up the ramp to get it to land in various instruments, like a tuba, trombone or trumpet.

There will be about 20 different carnival events in the works, according to organizers, in addition to the concert full of music that young kids would love (think “The Incredibles,” “Thriller,” “The Great Locomotive Chase,” etc.)
