Eagan Hy-Vee Opens with Long Line Out the Door

The Eagan Hy-Vee grocery store officially opened at 6 a.m. Tuesday, with a long line out the door.

The store, located at 1500 Central Park Commons Drive off Yankee Doodle and Pilot Knob roads, is nearly 100,000-square-feet in size.

Hy-Vee has invested more than $20 million to build, furnish and stock the grocery store. The new Eagan Hy-Vee says it also created 735 local jobs, including 185 full-time positions.

The store says it's still hiring for part time positions at the new Eagan location. Interviews will be held at the Eagan store.
