EAGAN, MN — Cute alert! Recently Dakota County Park Ranger Josh Schauer responded to a call at the Lebanon Hills Visitor Center in Eagan about a fawn that was struggling to walk and “crying” a lot. With the help of Eagan police, it was transported to a deer rehabilitation center.

They checked it out and reported that it was born in the last couple of days and not injured. The rehab center assisted with reuniting the deer with its mother back in the park. "Thanks to everyone involved!" The Dakota County Sheriff's Office said on Facebook.
