Eagan ​Shoe Recycling Drop-Off Nov. 14-20

Instead of throwing away old or unwanted shoes, Eagan residents can drop them off at the Eagan Civic Arena for recycling during a free one-week collection from Monday, Nov. 14 through Sunday, Nov. 20. Drop-off bins are located inside the Civic Arena (3870 Pilot Knob Road), open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Shoes of all types, sizes and styles, in any condition, will be accepted, according to a news release.

Shoes dropped off during this week-long event are collected by a textile recycling company, and will either be separated for reuse or recycled into new products. For more information, contact Eagan's recycling department, Dakota Valley Recycling, at (651) 675-5011.
