Eagan-based mover receives prestigious industry award

Alexander's Mobility Services of Eagan was one of 42 agents awarded The Milton M Hill Quality Award by Atlas Van Lines at the 66th Annual Atlas Convention. Because of their commitment to superior warehouse and hauling operations, the local agent received one of the industry's most renowned performance awards.

The Milton M. Hill Quality Award represents an elite group that displayed excellence in the following areas:

· Superior warehouse rating – Recipients must earn high scores in inspections that measure organization, security, risk management and overall impression.

· Hauling excellence – Agents qualify for this award based on customer service provided by their professional van operators and by meeting hauling revenue requirements.

· World-class commitment – Recipients are measured on 12 standards, including customer service, customer satisfaction, estimating accuracy, claims ratio and compliance with Atlas' standards of excellence.

Given annually since 1996, this award was established in honor of the late Milton M. Hill of Alexander's Mobility Services, an Atlas Van Lines agent. Hill was known for excellent and innovative customer service that set many standards in the industry. The 2013 recipients were presented the award at the 66th Annual Atlas Convention held Nov. 6-9 in Orlando, Fla.
