
Argosy University, Twin Cities graduate business degree programs are organizing the second annual sustainability conference titled, “Looking Forward: Opportunities in an Open World” on May 5, 2011. The event takes place from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and is hosted at Argosy University, Twin Cities and the Eagan Community Center.
The conference will serve as a forum for an open and dynamic dialogue between participants from business, academia, government, and nonprofit organizations who are actively shaping the future of their communities. Sustainability, with its economic, social, and environmental components, is the overarching long-term goal that connects the topics and shapes the dialogue.
The conference will feature plenary and parallel breakout sessions. Thought leaders, subject matter experts, and practitioners will address relevant, timely topics on economic realities and trends, technology, innovation, collaboration and alliances, entrepreneurship, corporate responsibility, diversity and healthcare. The list of invited presenters includes representatives of organizations such as Target Corporation, the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, the University of Minnesota, Medtronic, IBM, Great Plains Institute, and Creatrix. Networking and informal discussions with experts and peers are encouraged during the program.

The conference fee is $90 if registration is before April 30, 2011 and $180 after that date.
