Farm Cows Not All Alike at Holz Farm ?
Eagan Funfest Ambassador Leah Hed Finds Fun at Eagan's Holz Farm Spring Festival
Hello, I am Leah Hed and I am your 2015-2016 Eagan Funfest Ambassador!! Today we got to go to Holz farm!! When I first got there, one of the chaperones, Lilly's mom, Mary Briody, told me that there was a cow with the udder on the side of its body, not the middle, where cows usually have their udders. Mary also told me that the cow's baby, or the calf, had to go on a stool to be able to drink milk from the cow. Being as gullible as I was, I went in search for this side udder cow! But I could not find anything!! When I went back to our spots where we pass out flyers, Sylvia told me that Mary was just playing a prank!! Later, I met this little boy who I believe was named Linus, who had this cute little GB Packers jacket on!! He loved giving hugs!! And playing in the dirt! His mom told him, "We came all this way so you could see the beautiful farm and the horses, but you chose dirt!" All of us laughed!! Linus loved drawing with a stick in the dirt and made very beautiful dirt art. When he was leaving, he gave me a big hug! That is something I will never forget!! I would recommend this program to anyone who loves having fun and making memories while doing it. I have learned a lot during my year and I will miss all the excitement and fun of being an Eagan Funfest Ambassador!
Signing out for now, Leah Hed, 2015-2016 Eagan Funfest Ambassador
